Today picked up this VERY HEAVY Buick Special car cover. I believe it is original dealership cover. My 65 2 door Special is 203" in length and obviously it is short.
Did Buick make a Special shorter in length in this approximate guessed time(mid 60s). It has some stains and a few holes but pretty clean(maybe shrunk a bunch)???

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Maybe it was just a dealership running a "special" and it fits a Skyhawk?

The '61-'63 Specials were shorter, but not enough to fit under that cover?

This one on eBay is advertised as 17 foot long, that's 204 inches.

Thanks for information folks- at this point I'm thinking 61-62 with 1961 being a NEW model and 188" and this heavy cotton was washed then DRIED in a dryer causing it to shrink a good 10". Would have fit 61-62.
The one on EVILBAY at 17' would fit my 65.
Would be plenty for Buick Opel.
The lady I picked it up from yesterday said it was her grandpa's- she was around 50

Not sure about that, because he wrote this:
The top center seam measures 17 foot long

So, that includes the part that goes over the front bumper and the part that goes over the rear bumper.
That's at least an extra foot on each end?

Compared to the eBay asking price of $249.99, that's a bargain! [IMG]
