Pass on that car. It is too rusty and will require too much work and $$$$.

I wouldn't go $2000, don't think I would even go $1000. Nothing good there. And, if you are still interested in it, verify that it really was a GS.

I agree with Jim. Pass on this one.

I'd take it for $500. All that rust is what we hillbillies call weight reduction

Pass on that car; he took ALL the Goodies off, probably made more off the parts than the balance of the car. (only possible money part is 8 1/2 rear end, check for code LH or LW, those are 3.42 rear codes open and posi)and left a shell with a VIN, and its a 72 350 to boot. Unless you REALLY want to sink Tons of money into it, and guarantee you'll never get even half the money out of it...

Keep your eyes open. More cars are out there. But go ahead and tell the guy that it's not anything special and he took the good parts already but you have $500. He'll take it.

I bought a running 91 camaro with a straight body for 500! The wiring was crap and it was nasty interior, but the meth addict too it and I sold it a few months later for a grand! Bought a 72 lark running bucket o rust for 250! Paid 1050 for my current lil gem.

I would give him 300 and say horrible things about while pacing and circling it like a buzzard. He'll cave!

I want all you guys to do the haggling for me when I buy another car. I suck at it! The last car I bought I was able to get it down to $2000 from $2200.

Sometimes you just get lucky. The guy wanted $2200 for my Buick. I showed up a few months later and said I have $1500. He said give me $200 more. I said OK.

Sometimes you don't get lucky. I sold my '74 Power Wagon for $725 in hopes to purchase a '77 Club Cab Power Wagon for $1200. The guy said he wouldn't take less than $1800. Now I'm Power Wagonless
