This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. Just ask away and I'll do my best to answer.
The normal test-n-tune is on Thur. nights starting at 5:00 pm. Also you'll be very close to the Air Force Museum so if your interested you should try and fit that in.

I've never heard of this event. What state is it in? Is it a P/S 2 of 3 type of race or brackets?

    Shayne:

I've heard the shutdown area at Kilkare is short and it gets real nasty real quick if you run off the end of the track. Is that so?

Lots of us are still running the original manual drum brakes on our Pure Stockers and that can get hairy. I usually hit them hard right after I go through the traps to scrub off 30 MPH as quick as possible, then let them cool for the big one at the end. Anybody running me that's behind when I do that (yeah, right) just go on by. :eek2:

    Dave,

The shut down is a little short, but not crazy short. I have GM manuel brakes and get stopped from 120. They do have a gravel trap at the end of the track, so if you get into some sort of brake failure, don't do anything stupid, just go straight off the end and the trap WILL stop you. Past the gravel trap is a small river.

Also, the hotdogs are not to bad for a race track.
