Gotta be kiddin me.. Sorry but I'd rather go with as close to original restoration as I can get or afford. This is nuts. All that money into those rims and tires... Some people just have no idea what they've got. I think that the first thing I'd do is have a bonfire using those tires.
Just take'em out to the range, Sgt Major! You can use my shootin' iron!   BTW, how long did it take our BCA membership stuff to come in?
We've all seen worse, I think it looks nice but it probably rubs like crazy. I wouldn't mind seeing a refined version that is perfectly drivable maybe with a bit narrower rubber on the front and airbags to get it up a bit for driving operations.
Interesting find. I've got a collection of pictures of other custom big cars at http://www.1964buick.com/custom/custom.htm Not that I am in to that sort of thing or not, just another neat feature of my site.
Wayne, It took em almost 3 weeks to get me my membership. Then only after I sent them an email enquiring about it. I almost cancelled. Nice 105mm pack howitzer. Maybe we could use those cars for target practice...:blast:
Thanks for the info on the BCA. My card was charged on the first of May, so maybe not much longer. Here's a better shot with size perspective. The 155mm howitzer is huge.
Doc, that's actually a molded plaster dealership item. I bought it at an estate sale for $5. They're out there, but I don't know how many were made. The wife hates it! :bla:
That cat didn't look too bad. I think 18s would look more balanced and probably wouldn't rub as much.
I am not a DUBS or a DONK car person myself but I kinda like it myself. I am going to Bag my Cat someday for a better comfort and handling....Or have some lower springs put in, Just like the lower stance of them.........Plus they have come along way with the Airbag systems. I am not looking to make it into a jumping bean just a little more comfortable thats all. Now be nice and don't flame me too bad...... :Brow: Please ray: Don
