I seen there is another CL ad satting no engine after I postd this. Either way no engine and no title and car looks worth more than $2500 in my book. Maybe a set up to get robbed also noticed it's the next town over from me from the title in the second ad. I did send an e-mail to them asking what's the story with this car. I'll ask after I get some contact info if I can send my friend that's a police officer over to take a look at it.
probably has a loan against it, and tired of making payments, so they part it before it gets repossed..happens a lot around her on late model stuf..never see it on muscle car era stuff....i bet the title loan company would like to know...
Last summer my son bought a 2005 Mazda truck for 100.00. pretty clean runs and drives. NO title. I told him something was up. Had the cops run the VIN several times came back clean. After doing a car fax on it turns out theres a NC lien on it from a finance company. We contacted them to see about getting the title or givng them the truck. They were not interested in either option. After months of this thing sitting in my front yard we cut it up in small peices and scrapped it out with loads of my old A/C units. The yards wouldnt take it if they knew what it was.
