West Coast Nationals Registration is now open for WCN@LV. Friday night, October 14th - Test and Tune Saturday night (yes, it's at night this year!), October 15th - Bracket Racing with Supras (their event will go on simultaneosly with ours; the track can easily handle this many cars). For rules, general info, etc. please contact Jon W. For sponsorship, hotel info, etc. please contact Craig K. For problems with the web site, please contact me (Jack B.).
Hey Jack and Jon, I just sent my money over as well... just so you guys know, I'm still working on getting you all a few good pictures of the car for you all to use. Is there a dead line you will need them by? --Rich
Check is in the mail. Find me a good deal on a trailer (new or used) in Vegas and I'll drive the GS and the Dmax down.
I'll ask Len at Performance Transmission about the car trailers. He used to sell them for a friend; I'm not sure if he still does or not.
Thanks Jack! Looking for 20' open trailer. Tilts are nice but regular with ramps ok. Open bottom a possibility, too. That way I can work under the car. I don't expect immediate results but give it a shot. I'll be checking traderonline.com as well. Gary
Gary, Len e-mailed me back regarding the car trailers and said: yes-- mark has new ones here all the time. call mark on his cell. 702 498 1368
I'm interested in going up there, but if I do I would like to run the car. What class could I enter in? Could it be in the "test n' tune" only, or a bracket class, or something else? The 13 up class are all running 13 sec cars I guess? The site mentions b-body cars in a few places, what do they mean by that?
Yes, you can do Test and Tune only on Friday night if you wish. In the past, there hasn't been enough GS's there to run different classes so they just bracket them all in the same class.. so 11 second cars run with 13 second cars and ect. --Rich
It doesn't seem like I'll make it Too pricey with the fuel for the green giant. I'll aim for lancaster or fontana to do some track testing instead.
Picked up a beater trailer and getting it dialed in for the pull. Guess I'll probably make it after all. Had considered skipping this one. Heck, it'll be fun pulling the car and trailer with the new D-Max if nothing else.
