Man, what a good day it was!!! I went back in June and had a few things to work out. In June the car put down 330hp and 440lbft torque. I had a h pipe on the car which was causing some major vibration and the carb was too lean, my a/f ratio was 12.4 at that time. And I needed to curve the distributor. Well, I got rid of the H pipe and put in a nice X pipe and I had the distributor curved. I also went 2 steps doen in my jets both primary and secondaries..

I also swapped a 2004R into the car instead of the muncie m-20.

I gained a few horse even with the auto swap and the car just ran real strong. I put down 332HP and 444lbft torque at the rear wheels. The a/f ratio was 13.1 at max HP. The guy running the dyno sair that the lockup converter kinda messes with the torque a little, so I probably have even more torque. I don't think there is a whole lot more I can do with this combo. I wish I waited to swap the auto in to see what kind of true gain I actually got from the tweaking, I'm sure the auto sucked up a decent amount of power.. but nonetheless, I'm very pleased.

Hey John, we went to unlimited motorsports off RT 5 in South Windsor. Its Eric Rankin's new shop. He's a real nice guy and helpful every time a cars up. He gives suggestions and takes some time with each car. We had 14 or so cars and it was only 60 bucks for 3 runs with air fuel.. can't beat that.

Also, I had a typo in my original post which I corrected, original torque was 430lb ft, NOT 330.......... OOPS!
