Went with a friend to Houston Raceway. He just got his car running and wanted to see what it would do. Started out as a 500hp small block dodge, he added a turbo setup to it. 1st run he wanted to see how it would handle. 2nd run, vacuum line blew off the carb 3rd run got kinda squirley halfway down the track 4th run it jumped off the line hard, then fell on its face. Still got some bugs to work out on it. Also seen this regal there. And I took this pic also
OK BRIAN, Where did you Get the Pix of My Kid's T-Type? I had to go check the License Plate to verify, that it is the car. We pulled the car off the road this evening, getting ready for Engine Overhaul & possibly the needed Body & Paint work. 87 T-Type, Modified 2004R, 3:73s. car went 12.01 on street tires @ National Trail in 99, and has never matched that time here, SO, time to get it running right. It was at the track, parked next to us in the parking lot/pit area. The owner of it came over and hung out with us for about 15mins. I never seen the car run down the track, it was just parked there with the hood up the whole time we were there. If you want me to remove the pics, I have no problem doing so. I had no idea that was your son.

Stage 2 Gn Coming Soon Hey JR, I will be making my first pass in the big block car that I got from EJ in early July. I changed the motor since I got it and should be a lot quicker. Still waiting on my heads I see that you got yours. I hope they were worth the wait. :laugh: I want to see how you did the mods to get those headers on too. When did you say you were going to the track?
It took 10 months, but they finally arrived. They looked great and the car is running real good. I went with the 608b cam. The headers were a bit tough, I had to remove one tube on the driver side header and rerout it. Nothing fun about the header install, but I forgot about the whole ordeal when I fired it up and drove it. Should be ready for the track end of june or beginning of july. I will let you know. Shawn
