Wow, I never knew they made one of these. Or did this guy mis-ID it (again)? Auction is over, but did not meet reserve. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...STRK:MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=250221093173&rd=1
Not to beat a dead horse...but it sure looks like my Offenhouser I ran with many different combo's and carb's from two 500 cfm's to twin 750's. Ran best with the two 750 cfm's.
Okay...it's an Offy. too bad, it would've been cool if it WAS a rare Weiand. The same seller had a Caddy 2x4 manifold that he tried to sell as a Buick 2x4. He did give me a polite reply when I informed him it wasn't a Buick manifold... But now he has a NASCAR tri-power Pontiac intake for $999.99! Considering his track record, I have my doubts about this one...
It's not a Pontiac tri-power. It would have a waterneck mount on the front of the intake and there were no casting numbers on the 1957-58 manifolds. Those intakes are junk anyway. That part number comes up as a 1959 Cadillac 390.
