I would like to attempt a rebuild of my Buick 350 engine in my 71 Wagoneer. I built the 4 cylinder engine in my 63 Jeep with the help of some sites like this one:

    http://www.film.queensu.ca/cj3B/Engine/Rebuild.html

Are there any similar sites out there where a do-it-yourselfer has but together pics and explanations of the steps to do the rebuild.

I am new to this site and for all I know such a site is on this board already.

By the way, the Wagoneer came from the factory with the Buick 350 and TH400 transmission. That is why I purchased it. The 72 and later Jeeps came with AMC trash and torque-flites.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Actually, Jeep used Turbo 400's until about '80. And the AMC 401 will destroy a Buick 350. I know, I've been playing with Jeeps and Buicks since '76 and currently have a Buick 350 car and a 401 powered Wag.

And to those that may wonder- yes, I love Buicks.
