I'm getting ready to buy some weather stripping and was looking for some feed back on who sell the best kits as far as quality of fit. Hope this is the right place to post this.

Softseal is good but not for the trunk, it doesn't seem to seal tight enough and they do not send instructions with how to install the seal in the groove of the trunk edge, so I bought Steel Rubber and they came with instructions on how to install it, I even used their instructions to reinstall Softseal and it still let water in at the top of the trunk. After installing the Steel Rubber seal, the trunk lid was hard to close but after the glue dried the next day and I opened up the trunk lid and saw an impression in the seal from the trunk lid about a 1/2 inch wide flat all the way around the seal and does not leak any water in, I have even tried to shoot the water in from all different angles and still no water in the trunk!!!!!
    Just my opinion,
    Chip

    Alan,

I went with OPGI for my 70 GS. The SoftSeal kits included Clips and screws for each item. I did door jam, roof rail, 1/4 window seal, and felts. Received items 4 days after placing the order with stand shipping. Getting the kit rather than individually saved a bunch of cash too! :Brow:

    My two cents!
