I am getting water in my trunk of a 1970 electra. It seems to be coming in too far forward to be the trunk seal. Any ideas? Thanks Tom :Do No:

i'd bet its the back window seal. my 71 skylark kept getting water into the trunk and i took it and had a shop pull the back window and they said the channel was rusted and the culking was dried and cracked up and water was seeping into the trunk. common problem on these cars. Give it a try and have a new seal put in the back window.

Do you also get water in the floor of the interior? Check to see if the drains are aren't stopped up in the lower fronts of the quarter panels under the windows.
