thanks and I look forward to your reply. I hope to post some pics of the car here on this site after it arrives here in a week or so. thanks again Carl
yes...from Sven. He gave me a pretty good deal and threw in some extra items that sweetened the deal a bit. Great guy.
Hey Carl..depending on HOW BADLY DAMAGED the air cleaner you already HAVE really is...I may be interested! A local fello can hammer out most damaged metal pieces..however, he's NOT CHEAP by any means Wheelz, Tampa Bay
wheelz the current air cleaner on the engine has had its snorkels cut off and an additional "air inlet" was popped into the base. Let me make another post.......
trying to work up to the point of finally being able to post pics and links. Is your guy good at welding thin guage stuff like that? If so, many GM junker air cleaners have the same shaped snorkel that could be welded on and then rechromed.
Carl.......here's the pictures. it also could be cleaned up more......sitting in the shelf for 20+. Peace WildBill
They're close, but they they are expanded a little where they go into the main housing. The 1x4 air cleaners are like that too. Here's a pic of the 409 repos on e-Bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEV...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d27c664f4
