I am looking for a fiberglass hood to fit my 72. It doesn't matter if it is pin-on or uses hinges. Just no cracks. Pre-cut for hood scoop ok. Also interested in fiberglass front fenders if anyone has some that are not needed. PM or send e-mail to gunnracing@gmail.com.
bought my hood from VFN (stock-flat with hood hinges) very good quality, but need some blocking to get right. They also have the fenders (I did not get). Had a US Body hood once and the quality was not that good. VFN
Thanks for the info Michael. I had looked at both companies and I was a bit surprised with price of us body compared to vfn. Thought maybe someone out there had a used one taking up space...
Darrin, If you plan on using the stock hinges and springs with glass hood, you will need to swap out the hinge springs to lighter duty versions. You will break/crack the fiberglass hood with original springs. If you need the springs, I have them for $10/pr.
