    Hi All,

I have not been able to locate a "Build Sheet" in my car. I've looked everywhere that is typical since I have the dash and interior out....no luck.

I do have the sheet from under the gas tank but it for a car 3 numbers off of my VIN. My VIN has last three of XXX957. The sheet I found is for XXX960.

Anyone have any paperwork for my car? Contact me if I have your gas tanl sheet with VIN XXX960.

    Thanks!!!

Did you look under the door panels? Mine was on the passenger side.

Did you get papers from Mr Wane Roberts?

I have not taken the door panels off to look in there. The car was "frame-on" restored about 14 years ago (acording to the previous owner). I'm guessing that some of the paperwork may have been lost during that poject years ago.

I do have documentation from Wayne Roberts for the car. I was simply hoping that maybe someone had my gas tank sheet and would offer it to me. I would share the one I have with the owner of the car with this VIN.

Anyhow, I know others have the same situation as mine, paperwork from cars that are close to their VIN but not the same. Maybe we can reunite some of the cars with their correct paperwork.

    FWIW....

Did you look inside the driver's side a-pillar? you have to pull the a-pillar molding off to see, but I found the body sheet (different than the build sheet) for mine in there. Had to ask a smaller hand than mine to get it out, but she did, has some undercoating on it since the car was undercoated. but cool info. Had Y41 written in magic marker, that's when I found out that Y41 was the GSX RPO! So apparently it wasn't going to be a GSX til the body was already built?:3gears:

    Hi Roberta,

Yeah, I've looked in the A-Pillar, under the dash behind the defroster vents, under the carpet (which has been replaced prior to me), under the rear seat. I have small LED flashlights and inspections mirrors that I have used in looking everywhere. Someone mentioned looking insode the door panels so I'll check there as well. So far.. no joy.

I did find a paper under the passenger front seat. Duane decoded it for me over the phone while we were inspecting my car prior to purchase. It confirmed the Y41 (GSX specififc) code and the 4 speed as well as other tidbits.

Still looking for more original documentation as I work my way through various areas of the car while I'm cleaning and refreshing a variety of items.

    Thanks!
