If you pass on Daves rearend,I have a 8.5 housing and axles here in the Cleve area.My neighbor is heading to Detroit sometime next month if that helps you
Larry, I have a decent 10 bolt housing with backing plates and axles I took from a 69 Skylark, 8.2 I think but not sure. The axles are c-clip type, not sure if Buick used those in 71-72 or bolt in axles. I think the width is the same. $40.00. I'm in Shelby Township.
