canadian green wheel thanks for the heads up on the canadian ebay wheel. but truth be told this guy isnt serious about selling his wheel... he emailed me through the gs club fishing for an offer , which I made based on it being nice and getting some damn pics of it.... he never sent me pics after several phone requests then came up with some bullsh!t story that his son bought it for him and that it had sentimental value and he couldnt possibly ever sell it... that or theres another green wheel in edmonton, but I would seriously doubt it.. this is why I put in my listing contact me only if youre serious about selling your wheel this auction wont see a finish anyway, I would bet...he's playing games..
green wheel #2 wow 2 green ones in a week on the bay... gonnna have to get out the old pocket book and do some spending... thanks for the heads up GKMoz !!
E bay wheel Thats my green wheel in Canada -- It has never been listed before and I have never tried to sell it before. It came with the car I have just about finished and is not the right color so now surplus to me. I hope you can post a correction to what you said so it doesn't reflect upon me -- it is for sale and is in excellent shape. It costs only a little more to ship from Canada than in the US unless you want it in a hurry. Please see kudos on this board about other items I have sold ... Here is one on Ebay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Spor...196 2865QQrdZ1
green wheel well then I stand corrected , and youre not the same gentleman from edmonton alberta that contacted me through the gs club newsletter. I am interested nonetheless... so is this wheel dark green for late '71-2 ? OR is it the lighter yellowy dark green for 'late '70 to mid '71 production ? best, john
Your Welcome !! My pleasure !! I know someone was looking a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time for one !! Like to see guys get what they need to complete their resto !! Moz  :TU:
It is a dark green. I have no idea how to tell what shade. It came with the car when I bought it. The only marking I can see on it is an 'F" in a very small circle impressed in the rim on the back. I am going to let it sell on ebay as I follow the rules. It will sell if it goes over my reserve price which I will not reveal.
green wheel bert, may I get some better pics shot in better/natural light showing a bit more detail with regard to the graining wear and the hue of the green... I hate to spend for one that isnt correct for my interior.. been stuck with 2 wheels in the last 5 yrs that were the earlier lighter dark green and had to peddle those... thanks, john
hey mike, dont you think you should post your own want ad for a green wheel rather than stepping into mine looking for one ?
green wheel I figured I better update this posting... STILL LOOKING neither of the wheels on ebay listed as dark green are Hunter green, OR the lighter '70-1 version of that green... I talked to the gentleman in texas with one of the wheels, and after him cleaning it up some to take better pics for me, turns out the wheel is blue. super nice guy and he does lots of 70-2 parts ... a good contact for someone. the canadian wheel is also not dark green...seller says its teal green but the pics I got tonight are very true blue like what a '70s regal would have in it... if you need blue of some kind get a hold of him... thanks for taking the time to shoot the extra pics bert ,you are right you are definately not the same guy in edmonton alberta . you'll get your apology when I get mine... there was no call/need to be curt and over assuming of my intentions... muchless call to ban me from an auction that I wouldnt have bid due to item being the wrong color anyway.... most if not all serious buyers ask if a seller has a buy it now price in mind.... if that bothers you, then you may be in the wrong hobby. best regards, john
