Receivers Another one, be carefull on this one it doesn't say if it works or not! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970...585848092QQcategoryZ34202QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem AL.
Receivers You don't want this one because it is not for a Skylark (no lower mounting studs) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...586432075QQcategoryZ42606QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem AL.
thanks guys. anyone on the board have one? i would prefer to buy one from one of us rather than EBAY. john
I do, it has been all restored and is show quality. I bought it, had it in the car for 2 months and removed it for an aftermarket system ( no sense in hurting a perfect unit) $350.00 with fader for dual speaker setup
I am not sure that a show quality radio is what i need. i am just looking for one in good condition that works well to go into my car. it is not a concourse restoration, but i just want that original look. also $350 is a little too much for me to spend on the radio. i am sure that it is a great radio, but just a little too rich for me. thanks! john
Here is a working AM on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/71-B...ewItemQQcategoryZ80741QQitemZ4587393537QQrdZ1
I understand the cost factor. I purchased this from Original Car Radios, hence the high cost. Why not call Soundmove in Bristol IN. They have an aftermarket setup that is really sweet. Anything from am/fm stereo to am/fm with cd changers. They also make a kickpanel speaker combo that is fantastic. www.soundmove.com (574) 848-0771 Great people, I have purchased several units from them and they all sound great, in fact the 63 Wildcat that is in for restoration will have a 6 disc cd player and one of their stereos in the dash, they did a kickpanel speaker system for me and all the speakers needed to let the stereo sound fantastic, yet keep a "factory" look to the whole thing. No need to cut any panels!!!
I have a nice looking one for $150.00 but i have not checked opeation yet. Let me know if you are interested and i will try and check it. Peace WildBill
