We will have the BBB engine in the MGB-Roadmaster out for new head gaskets, main seals and a general cleanup this spring. The 1971 engine has about 25K miles on it and it'd be a good time to upgrade the CR if we can get a deal on a set of pistons, since the heads will be off and the crank will be out. Don't have to be pristine, just usable. The engine has TA-SE heads, a moderate cam and a Posten intake with the cut down divider but is somewhat hampered with log style tubular exhausts. The compression ratio upgrade over the stock 8:1 (nominal) OEM pistons is seen by most as beneficial.

This is a public service project, built and campaigned completely with donations from contributing members, now in it's 10th year of being displayed to youth across the country in order to encourage the spirit of creativity and hot rodding. It has been a huge success and has participated as a long hauler in the Hot Rod Power Tour. among other things such as visits to schools and shows. We aim to continue and are asking for your support.
