I need a set of heads for a 70-72 455.I am not interested in the later open chamber heads.The block I have is a 72. I am not necessarily looking for fresh rebuilt heads,but the less I have to do to them the better,I will be changing springs at the least.I don't think I can afford a set of stage 1 heads. OK....so somebody tell me what they want for some plain old halfway decent rebuildable heads? I know they are heavy and I would not mind driving a little to get a set,but would prefer someone local to me here in TX,maybe Dallas or austin,houston?

Marty I thought about contacting you,but didn't want to have you go out of your way for me.You would have still had to ship them down,and I figured it would be too much trouble.Thanks for asking though,I appreciate the thought. :beer Anyways I sent out a money order to Nick white today for a set,I need them pretty badly.I broke one of the heads I had ported when I tried to remove some broken exhaust bolts from it.So I guess I will be starting over on the heads!
