The exhaust manifolds are painted with POR's ultra high temp silver paint. 2000 degrees I think. Made for manifolds and pipes.
I used 1/8 tape to mask as much as possible and then some reducer to clean up and smooth the lines.
Polish first so the paint does not adhere as well to the area you do not want painted.
I think you will be very surprised at the quality of their products. I should own stock in their company after all these years and times I have used it

Yeah, the coil is usually standing up and I thought having all the fins parallel would be a cool touch. Little custom bracket work and much better. I am actually selling the valve covers on ebay right now

Oh and POR15 is a great brush-on product. It flows out and no brush strokes. I use solvent brushes.

I would think the coolant flow would be more than adequate. The coolant squeezes past a little thermostat anyway.

The design and workmanship are really cool. I love it!:TU:

That was my thought going in but I am open to hearing opinions that may be different than my own. That is how we determine what to do and what not to do.

    Hey Primo,
I am working with Lee Schelin as he is the only guy I kinda knew and trusted to help me with producing the brackets without stealing the idea and work involved. Maybe another month before we have some answers on cost and timelines.

The PS pump is belt run and not electric. I am not too much of a HP guy, but I am ALL ABOUT how things look. It is a late model pump and I will have to use a remote reservoir. The pump is below the bottom of the Valve Covers and I am primarily concerned with the presentation of the Nailhead.

My Tri Power should be here soon and that will be F-ing awesome!! Not too many Tri Powers on Rivieras. The dual quads may make more power, but I will have 2bbl economy, 6 bbls of power, AND the cool factor of being different.

Very Impressive creativity.:beer . You should be excited.

I can only imagine the amount of work it took to relocate those items. Great things take time. Any idea when the whole project will be finished?

    Jason,
I am hoping for summer or a little later. I would like to aim for a Barrett-Jackson deal beginning of next year after some magazine stuff.

Since this thread was started, I switched out to Moon Valve covers and modified them to accept a fully closed PCV system with threaded oil caps. Moon only has a HUGE breather available with their VERY limited option design of the mounting flange at the bottom of the fins rather than the top like Offys have. In other words, there are fin clearance issues with Moon's Covers.
I'll be running the PCV valve out of the Valley Cover and fresh air off the rear of both Valve Covers. I'll be starting the actual fab work on the PCV system after I get the TRI Power setup so I can see where to locate stuff. Also bought another Moon Valley cover and had it polished differently than the one on my avatar.

There are pictures of the new oil caps installed on the Facebook page.
