wanna Hit 9s ?????

    i'm ready to build my car this winter...i want to know the best way to hit high 9s and still be sum-what streetable what cam should i use i still have the TA413 cam havnt put it in i dont think the motor can handle it yet, i thinken TA stage 2 heads the SP1 intake i dont know what to do about rods pistons crank.....the cars the 65 A-body not much done to my 455 mostly stock... ill be almost startin from scratch...this is sumthin i decided to do...not many buicks where i live i did find one with a built 455 its a 10.50 car and watching it run was impressive the car was torqued sidways down the whole track......i know iv got enough saved up to do this so any advice on what i should do would be awsome :TU:

    start collecting blocks you need to have them all sonic test to find a good solid foundation. You can't build a house on dirt! if you know what I mean. Then start checking lifter bore location, that should keep you busy for quite some time. Buy an aftermarket block to start out with and save your investment. You did say 9's right!
