I've heard of many different types of Vinyl tops and I was wondering which one would have been on my car originally:
    (1969 Skylark Custom)

    Boar Grain
    Levant Grain

Also is the Skylark an "A" body?

What is the average price (In US dollars) for a good vinyl top?

Anyone know where I can find any in Canada?

I can't answer the vinyl top questions, but A-body refers to GM intermediates (although the exact years slip my mind). That includes: Malibu/chevelle, Lemans/GTO, Cutlass/442, Skylark/GS.

I think you can get a vinyl top for $60 or so

$60?! :eek2: Where did you see that?! I was quoted about $100 for a 'used' one, $150 for a new one, plus shipping and these are US prices!

The correct vinyl top for a 69-72 Skylark is Levant grain with a double seam.

Thanks. After some long discussion I think I'm going to just paint the top (vinyl is already missing) the white like the vinyl. Then when I have the money i'll put on the real vinyl.
