Need the two piece vinyl floor covering (used in lieu of carpet) for a 70' F-85. Interior Code: 900 (black). Sometimes refered to as "rubber flooring" which is in fact soft vinyl material. Part number application fits Olds F-85 (3177, 3277, and 3477) 69-71 and all Buick 2 dr. post A-body 69-71. Need NOS or good used (repairable acceptable as long as repair will not show). I need this flooring to finish my nut/bolt restoration on a rare 65,252 mile 70' F-85 W-31 - - (dash dash) paint code (rally red, one of five) with a 4 speed. I would hate to use a carpet. So please, any info, help, or symaphy greatly appericated by me. Thanks !

PS that other junk brand Chevbie is different gain (pattern).

Sorry Bill no pics available. Flooring was gone when I got the car. Third owner stored in a barn (yes its a barn story car) for about 5 years and wood chucks got in to the interior and you can guess the rest. If this wasn't a numbers matching car, with rare color option for an F-85, a W-31 4 speed and only 65,256 documented miles, I would not have attemped this project of a full nut/bolt restoration.

The only way I can discribe the flooring is that it is "Pebble Grain" and takes the place of a carpet, so the shape is the same, except it is two pieces with an over-lapping split under the frt. bench seat, and made of soft vinyl about 1/16 to 3/32 inch thick. Along the edges of the two pieces about 1 1/2 inch in from edge, is smoothe (no grain pattern).

BTW This type grain, style, and part number(s) also fits 69-71 Buick A-body 2 dr. post coupes (Skylark) 6 cyl or V8. Sooooooooooooo any you Buick guys out there have one good used or (hope/pray) have an NOS one Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee call me, or E-mail, send smoke signals, bleed for me, whatever.............. I just need this last part. Hate to install carpet.

Dave,I have been told that Year One sells them for post model Buicks.I too, like you want to get a new set for my 71 Post Car racecar project.I have the original rubber flooring in mine yet and it has some small tears but not nothing too bad.I will use it in my car till I can get a replacement.I have been looking for the same thing and have been looking through all of my catalogs to see where I seen it listed. If I locate it I'll let you know.Mine is blue pebble colored, but I'll take a plain black one.

The interior color code for 70' F-85 is: 900, Black, but does not matter as far as the coded interior. ALL post F-85/Cutlass models (not Cutlass S Post coupe) had a unquic interior, very "Plain Jane" so to speak. However, all the flooring style (gain type) was the same, even if other than Black. ALL 69-71 Buick post coupes had the same style and grain and since floor pans are the same they should fit in my F-85.

I ordered a vinyl floor from a carpet company (NO REFUND) and it is junk. They used the same mold for carpet material as for this so called vinyl flooring. It came folded up in one large single piece of stiff vinyl. I got ripped off for $130 + shipping of $30. I'll need about 8 or 10 hrs of use of a 2500 Watt heat gun to make it fit and it still won't look right as it has no heel pad either. Called the supplier and you guest it: NO REFUND. You got it, you bought it, its yours, sort of answer. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo beware!
