  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Did you try Rob's suggestion? You need to host it elsewhere, then post a link to it. Can't be uploaded to the board.

David, thanks. Are there any other free "upload" sites that will hold over 10 MB?

Sorry, no idea, I don't do video myself. Could be hard to find a free site for much larger files though.

Anthony, don't you have Windows Movie Maker?? Import file into that program and you can choose how to save it (less than 10Mb and you can use putfile)..... in fact it is not different than resizing a picture...

Re-encode it so it is smaller.

You can try to cut out parts that aren't really important, or simply get Virtualdub or Nandub, and just convert the video to Divx or Xvid (the latter being preferable). All can be done for free, and you have complete control over the process and settings.

You could even re-encode it in the same format you have now, just reduce the sound quality or video resolution a bit - it'll come out smaller.
