This car is a steal at this asking price. Kelly Blue Book Classic Car has this vehicle listed at $7,600.00 in good condition for the stock model 1965 skylark without the upgrades, AND THIS CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IT HAS ALL THE UP-GRADES. It's a cream color body with a white top. All of the new parts and up-grades were installed within the last 2000 miles. This vehicle has a newly rebuilt HT400 3-speed auto transmission (a $2000.00 upgrade) instead of the hydromatic 300 2-speed transmission; new 2.5 turn lock-to-lock steering gear box (a $500.00 upgrade), new front power disc brakes (an $1,800.00 upgrade), new automatic door locks ($200.00 upgrade), new upholstery (saddle color-$900.00) and carpet, new oversize front and rear anti-sway bars ($175.00). All of the chrome is there and it is in excellent condition. I have receipts for everything done to this beauty- all work was performed by a local professional that specializes in Buicks, original 300cid Wildcat V8 motor. This car turns heads everywhere it goes and drives like a dream and handles like a corvette. The car also has a new electronic ignition, new drive-line($225.00), new KYB gas schocks, new american racing torque thruster wheels (15X7, look like cragers)and new tires($1,200.00), new autometer gages($169.00), new alternator, rebuilt rochester 4 barrel carburetor, new water pump, new timing chain and gears, new floor mats, new alarm, new Kenwood cd stereo, new radiator, new grant steering wheel, too much to list. The car gets about 20 mpg and has an 18 gallon gas tank. The car has 114,108 original miles on the odometer. Very dependable and fun to drive. The paint is in good condition, but if I were going to keep it I would have it repainted to give it that drop dead gorgeous look. Since I've just finished the interior I should have some photos in a few days. E-mail me for additional photographs. I'm selling the car because gas is too expensive. I WILL CONSIDER A TRADE FOR A NICE MERCEDES 380 SL.

Portland, Oregon SORRY ABOUT THE PHOTO SHOTS, LOTS OF GLARE AND STREAKS-THEY REALLY DO NOT DO THE CAR JUSTICE. THE NEW SEATS ARE TRUELY FLAWLESS.

    Hmmm,

I board member emailed me some pics yesterday that he got from the owner, wonder if he bought it? The seller had lowered the price to $7k, which seemed like a pretty good buy.......
