Very nice 71 gs 350 convertible in NY

Friend of mine has a 71 GS 350 Convertible he is going to sell, I asked him to try to sell it to a board member first. I only have a few pictures now, will have more soon. The car is in NY, I have never seen it in person, only in pics. I found it in 2003 and he bought it and got it home in Jan. 2004.

Car is red with a white top and interior (factory colors I believe). Bench seat with a fold down armrest. Numbers matching 350. Newer posi with 3.42 gears. Newer carb, brake booster, electronic points, aftermarket stereo/cd (still have the original radio, doesn't work). Power disc brakes, sport wheel, A/C that needs a charge. Mileage is just over 73k.

Car is very nice, great paint job and interior, very solid, needs a few little things. Has a crack in the dash, a couple of very small paint imperfections / minor rust bubble. Imperfections have been there since he got the car, and haven't gotten any worse.


He is selling it because his family just hasn't found the time to enjoy it like they thought they would, and every time they go out it draws a lot of attention.

Price is $20k or best offer. Car is in Westchester NY (35 miles north of NYC).

I live in Westchester and going by the phone exchange the car is located around me and I have never seen it! I guess that is why they are selling, it must sit in the garage like my cars:Smarty:
