If you ever wanted to learn how to paint, doing an already straight, rust free white car in single stage is about as easy as it's going to get. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/d/1968-buick-gs/6761957299.html
If that white GS is as clean as the pictures it is a great deal in my opinion. I bet we will see that one again being flipped for 5-6 K more.
Looks like a good clean one to work with, I am betting it is more tired looking in person, it had new carpet and looks like seat skins, when you look at the door panels the tired shows as well as the dash. There has been at least some touchup paint work done. As mentioned, this one will end up a flip
I actually had a set of those on my 67 when it was my driver lol, it was either those or the ones with the woodgrain on them. Thankfully I saved the originals
Hard part to find and I don't think they are reproduced (at least the '68 version). '68 style colored lock pulls were a one year only item. I have found used white sets for my car to replace the chrome '69-up style that were installed. Surprised the chevy guys have not had them reproduced, at least for the chevy's that had the factory installed Buick deluxe interiors. Wood grain style would not cut it for me either.
too bad they cut the rear package try for those ugly 90s speakers..... looks alot like my brother 68 that we got from Kansas but his has a black vinyl
