what kind of effects can happen if you use valve lash caps on the buick non-adjustable rocker arms? will this increase the valve lift,in turn making it seem as if your running more lift than what the cam actually has? just curious you know because I've been reading things again and get thoughts of more power racing through my head.:Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
I put Crane valve lash caps on my 401 as well as a new set of "Buick" lifters. It cured my noisy lifter but I don't think I got any extra power. I believe that the extra lift is absorbed by the lifter but I could be wrong. 1 cents worth (Aussie conversion). Bill S.
