I have yet to find a vendor with the correct extruded 3/32 rubber hose for the mid 60`s GM cars. This has the red stripe and is used thru out the vehicle for A/C control and even the vacuum gages mounted in dash as well as conslole mounted units. pt# 9776868 gr.9.755. Also, over at the the Pontiac forum site, an effort is being pushed to try and get a decent clutch pedal rod bellows seal reprod. (pt. #9776826). The current available seal (bellows) has fit problems as well as an incorrect number of ribs or folds. The original 1964 posssibly 65 GM A body design has 3 ribs rather than the repop 2 rib, as used on the later A body cars. PM if you might have info on either of the topics above.
Here's the thread from the Performance Years forum: http://forums.performanceyears.com/forums/showthread.php?t=616862 My 65 GS has the same style 3-rib bellows. We still need to determine exactly when Buick used these....whether all 65's had 'em, or just some. I have a post up at www.65gs.com on the subject: http://65gs.com/board/index.php/topic,408.msg2855/topicseen.html#msg2855 You can count on some sales of the repos to Buick guys too, so make plenty!
