That one way check valve looks exactly the same as the one used in '68/'69 Riviera. :TU:

I bought a universal one and it doesn't work right. The headlamps won't move at all, but I can move them by hand...they just stay where I put them. I tried switching the direction of the valve, but then the headlights can't be moved by hand even.

Is there anyone who sells these check valves?

Four months since the first post in this thread, so you didn't buy the one from eBay?

The part number is the same for Camaros with vacuum headlights.
You should be able to find a new one because they sell a lot of reproduction parts for those cars.

Here's a NOS one on eBay :Comp:

After a few hours troubleshooting (starting with the hardest parts first) it turns out the hose had come loose from the switch. :Dou:

A lesson learned again on always to start with confirming the simple basic things are in order.

And it works fine with a universal vacuum check valve!

. . . at least you'll have a 'spare' for the next time Kenneth !! :TU:

I read it like he broke the original, and replaced it with an universal check valve, Randy?

Anyway, the headlights are going down and up again :TU:
