We know June 17 is a long way off but....... Right after the 1st of the year we will be taking pre-registration for the Martin Race. Look for the info on the Year-one board. Race format for F/S class is quick 8 and then the best 2 out of 3. At the Georgia race we will need at least 8 F/S ers to have their own class, if we have at least 10 we will go to the quick 8 and then the best 2 out of 3. Quick 8 1vs5 2vs6 3vs7 4vs8. Hi John. Yes, the Martin Y-1 race will be a one day event. For those that have never been to the new Martin 131 drag race facility, it is one of the cleanest and nicest layouts in the country. Most of you have been to Norwalk, and Martin US131 is in the same class. The staff is top notch and the track surface is fantastic. They have promised to prep the track whenever necessary with enough spray to keep the polys from going up in smoke. I have it on my calendar, as a day off, so hope to be there, P/S with the '68 GS Convertible 4 speed, unless some magic occurs with the semi-planned restoration of the '70 GSX Stage 1, #14 happens and it's done by then! Look out! R
Pre-registration Hey Terry, how many people have pre-registered, or didn't you guy's start yet? Is there going to be a limit like the last Martin event?
