Registration info is on the US 131 Website........ http://www.us131msp.com/ I'd go, but they will not let me play unless I get more stock parts on my car to get under the 12.99 minimum speed............ ou:
That's probably true if you want to race, but I went to the Milan event as a spectator and it was pretty cool. The crowd was HUGE. Someone said it was Milan's largest crowd ever, upwards of 30k. Don't know about that, but I do know it took me about 2 hours to get out of the parking lot at 1:00AM!
Doesn't Knoll Gas own/sponsor/whatever US131? What's gonna change at the track, being as Knoll Gas is being liquidated November 10th?
There was a Knoll Gas sign in the middle of the lanes at Martin. Last I saw the sign was gone..... Knoll was floating the boat big time for NHRA and IHRA as you know. Seems he was doing it with money that was supposed to have been for gas taxes, if what I heard was correct.
The wife and I were at that race. As soon as it was over we ran all the way to the car and drove right out. They just started to plug up right behind us. Went to Norwalk the next morning and the wife got Ashley's autograph. Good times.
I had heard he got some government grants for fuel development. Didn't go to fuel development o No: I would be cool to see some of the F.A.S.T. guys going 10's at one of those things. Even if the cut didn't go their way folks would poo themselves.
So, I take it that Martin will not have the cheapest racing gas in the country any more??? Looks like Sunoco will the track fuel of choice. Hurry up and buy Sunoco stock!!!!:idea2: I remember 2 years ago when damn near every race car was sponsored by or in part by Torco. I thought that there was no way he could be making that much on race fuel!!! Donny, All you need to do is hook up a nitrous kit and you will have that car in the 12's!!!:bla:
Totally agree! I often thought that the tightest Pinks ALL OUT would be at the PSMCDR! It should be real easy to find a field of 16-32 cars running within 2/10ths of a second.
