ok, so I still don't like the guy who made the headders... but the darn header bolt was bottoming out before the flange hit........... My fault for not catching that one... One 3/8"-16 tap later and it seals now.

Hopefully I can make fire in the car tomorrow.

It runs in the car!!! Boy, those "race" 3 1/2" Flowmasters are REALLY going to piss my one neighbor off! lol.. I love neighbors for that reason.

Perhaps a Saturday drive is in order............ and sunday...

So much for taking it easy on the rear end! 1 1/2" miles and it was burnout time! Huge burnouts in front of the house.... Needs sway bars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to read your latest post twice as I thought you broke the rear end. I'm really glad you finally got to drive the car. When do you think you will get to take the car to the track and get some ET times? Again, I'm happy for you and can't wait for those ET's.:TU: :TU:

Mike,I couldn't imagine you broke that 8.5 /31 spline rear end:idea2: Weirder things have happened thou.:Do No: I'd like to know how that car stops with the 4 wheel disc breaks? The stance looks perfect also!!!

lol, I got a call from Bobb saying the same thing, the rear end is fine. Super crappy tires just spin all the time! I cant shift it fast enough. I am still dialing in the rear brakes with the adjustable prop valve. It gets better each time. Rides much better with 15lb in the right air bag and 5 in the left. I put the stock rear sway bar on as well. Now when I smash the gas it only jumps across the other lane in the road once! lol, prior it was smash it, hit second then third as fast as the shifter guy could ratchet it, then start shittin as the car cut across the two lanes every 30'... Going to try the HR Parts bar soon.

I need different rims and tires for the track. I had to use wheel spacers to get these tires to fit. Not too worried about it on the street as the thing will NEVER hook with these skins. But I don't want the spacers on the track...

    Got any rims for sale?

I use the HR bar.It straightened me right out.It will set you back 5 bones thou.I don't have any rims at all but my vote is for the stock 86/87 T-type rims.

The only way this thing will get sleeper status is when it isn't running! But those rims are cool

Here are some pics of Scott Dubois car. My house has been very loud this weekend! He just got his little 350 Buick running.
His motor is pretty stock as he built it as a tribute to his late brother. Don't expect that to last though as we have an entire box full of nitrous solonoids!

So ya, without spray the thing will get nasty sideways at 60 mph... just by smashing the gas.

Can't wait for sticky tires and spray...

Found what happens when you keep "smashing the gas"...

Guess what I am waiting for?

If it's what I'm thinking :idea2: been there done that. Had my neighbor come and tow me home. I came up about 3 miles short. Don't leave the house less I have over half a tank anymore.

It might have been if you kept your foot out of it. all those black marks 300 feet long up and down your road told me all I needed to know LOL:TU:

Something is wrong with those tires? only a month old and bald? The alignment might be out as well, darn car keeps going all over the road.

Looks like were going to mini tub, rack, steering colum, floor mount the pedals and what ever comes up this winter.... 315 60 15's .... oh ya, alum seats.

Mike: I can get 315/60/15's under my Regal without the mini-tubbes as the rear frame rails have been narrowed/notched. Just another option.

We'll call it a mini tub I guess. What ever it takes to get the ride height looking good and have the whole tire tucked in nice, using the un cut trim. The thing sita like a truck right now. Stance is pretty cool, but a bit tall. Kinda want to drop it a bit in front and the back..
