Hi, this is Carol. I'm letting you all know that Korrie had an unfortunate mishap on Monday evening. He was fighting with the stairs and the stairs won. He's at home to recuperate and heal from two breaks in his neck. As you can imagine, he is hurting. Thankfully the breaks are clean and will not require surgery. I'll keep you posted. Carol Dykstra
Two brakes in his neck? Disc or drum? Musta been drum cause he sounds like he couldn't stop in time. Take good care of him -- we kinda like him around here. Hope he heals as fast as he drives. (Side note: if something like that happened to me, the wife would take me to the vet to see if she could have me put down. But that's a me issue.)
Sorry to hear about the mishap. As an accident survivor it is best to take it easy and take as much time as possible for recovery and rehab. And if he complains about the pain , yes it is real. He won't be making it up not to take out the garbage. Patience and love is the best medicine.

Man dude, ya gotta pick ur battles. Shouldda knowd them stairs would kick ya ass. Breaking your neck is serious business. Just chill and if ya need something let us know.
