Man, that has got to be a burnout MACHINE with that weight hanging out there.....the pic of the engine compartment confuses the bejeebus out of me, though.....
I couldn't understand the pics either, but on closer examination, the engine seems to be in the normal location in the van. I have no idea what that "box" out front does. I also first thought the engine was in there. This pic shows the engine in place...
I've seen this van in person the engine is "inside" the van and the front grill is just because the guy could lol. The guy who is selling it is not the original builder of the van. A few years back I went to look at a B model mack cab he had for sale and it was absolutely junk! He seems a little shady and overpriced on his "projects" he sells.
I had a 65 Chevy flat nose van with a 327 in it. Little van would scream but constantly over heated. Nothing I did would keep it cool. Putting a bigger rad out in that nose might have helped.
Too bad because I loved the original grille on those things. That nose he put on their looks like a tumor.
Not sure what that grille is supposed to do, it really doesn't help in any way at all. I guess it could be a cheap beer cooler...
