First off I have an alignment issue where the tops meets the windshield. One latch is super tight as the top frame doesn't quite reach. The other is fine. Is there an adjustment for this?

Secondly, is it difficult to just replace the well?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure about your car but my 64 has two bolts on each side of the top frame at the latches. I found it was easiest to adjust the top latch problem on mine by loosening those two bolts and pulling the front bow forward (while the top was up and the pressure was off the top material).

As for the well. The well is stapled on first, then the back window, then the top. Typically to replace the well you have to remove top and window from the lower tack strip then staple it all back on. It's not bad if you have a staple gun and a few hours to kill.
