Turbo motor mounts for transplant???

I've read that I should get "turbo" motor mounts for my SBB Regal project. I've exhausted all my local sources and havn't been able to identify a turbo specific poly motor mount. All books say the mounts are identical for all V6 Regals, even the Grand Nationals.

What am I missing here? Are these parts an aftermarket item? Sources? Regular mounts are only $10 a side if I can use those...

    Thanks,
    Sean

Use 350 mounts, the V6 mounts are soft to prevent transmission of the engine harmonics to the car. Even fire V6s have a vertical imbalance issue that was taken care of in the newer 3.8s with a balance shaft. The older ones just got soft mounts.

So if the mounts on my 350 are in good shape I can just re-use those?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    alec296 i need another buick

if you want to get your power to the ground i suggest calling up a turbo buick parts place and getting poly motor mounts for turbo v6 .
if you use stockers and watch the motor as some does a brake torque
you will understand how stretchy they are.
polys are stiff but better than chaining the engine down
the stockers are all about the same so they must be talking
    about the polys

For polys, get them from www.hrpartsnstuff.com or one of the places that distributes their parts. I think the stock 350 mounts may be ok, the V6 mounts are just too soft.
