I was surfing around, jumping from site to site and came across this article where they were boxing up the lower rear control arms for a '65 Chevelle. They say that the arms will also fit a '68 Riviera.

Well, if that is true, Spohn makes boxed and tubular upper and lower control arms for the '64-'67 Chevelles.

Is the rear suspension the same on the '68 Riviera's as it is on the '66-'67's? What about the '69-70's models? Still the same rear suspension?

What other suspension parts are the same between the 66-70 Rivieras and 64-67 A-body Chevelles?

Not an expert on the big bodies but that does not sound right. Chevelle and Sylark are A-bodies. The Riv would be much closer to a B-body. If someone said that Impala suspension parts would fit that would be more beleavable.

Don't know if this helps or not, but I believe the '70 A-body lower control arms and the '68 B-Body lower controls arms are identical. I bought boxing plates from OPG for the '70 and they fit my '68 arms perfectly. The uppers are very different, though.

The A-body and B-body cars use the same lower control arms 1966-70, and they are the same right and left.

The Riv, which is an E-body, uses this same part on the right from 1966-70 but the left has a different part number. The difference must be very slight--I have parted out several of these Rivs and never noticed!
