Rears are 31 x 18.5 Fronts are 26 x 7.5 (both on 15" rims, rears have tubes, with rims drilled, but no screws ever installed yet)
Got 'em sitting right beside the car. :TU: $3,500.00 cash this weekend and you can have every single Buick part you can find on my property along with the tubbed 67 roller. (bring a trailer and an empty truck bed!... fenders, doors, hood, deck lid, open rear end, wheel wells, glass, window regulators, hvac stuff, a-arms, spindles, misc emblems, misc trim, misc interior parts, piles of starters, alternators, pulleys, driveshafts, paperwork and books, dvd's, flags, die casts, etc..etc..etc...) A guy came last night to pick up the 2.56 posi I was selling, and he ended up buying all 5 of my 67 bumper cores for an extra $10 total. ($2 each) This stuff needs to go away, fast. We really don't have room here at the new place for all this junk! ou: :beers2:
I'm the guy that picked up that posi last night. It is well worth the money that is being asked. I checked it out when Rick wasn't looking! Brian
Thanks Brian I didn't realize you were a member here! :TU: I tried talking Brian into taking some more of my crap while he was here too... But he already had all those bumpers, a 65 fender, AND a posi rear end in the back of his Dodge Magnum.... tight squeeze!  :beers2:
TTT.... still have this car taking up my parking spot in the new garage.... $5,000 as it sits with all the extra Buick parts I have, or $2,500 for the roller w/o engine, trans, or MSD stuff. :beers2:
Do you have any better Pictures of the Quarter Panels like how much rust is in them How much Sheet metal needs to be replaced. Is there any bondo in the Quarters at this time.
Tha car is pretty buried right now Jeff The quarters need replaced from the body line down. Besides being rusty, many many moons ago, I cut out the wheel wells bigger to fit bigger tires. Also since it's tubbed, it'll need the wheel wells slightly flared anyways. Cheap repop steel lower quarters are avaliable for like $129 each. To be safe, I'd say all sheet metal needs replaced. They now make almost all panels fiberglass for 67's. They've had hoods, bumpers, and trunk lids avaliable for quite awhile, and someone here at V8Buick just got fenders and doors made so they are now avaliable too. :beers2:
I found one more piece of 67 wheel well chrome still attached to one of my junk fenders during our move. I only want $5K for it, and I'll throw the car in with it! :beers2:
I'm happy to say that as it turns out, I'm keeping the car.... Not only keeping it, but there's a chance it could be tearing up the streets/track by next summer! :3gears: A good friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse.... He's the guy that painted my ragtop. He said I could move it to his shop for the winter. He'll keep busy on it in his spare time for a reasonable rate, and I can also work on it where there's actually room to work on it. I figure with him getting things started (which seeing progress will get me motivated again), and with me having no other cars to occupy my time and money... things are going to happen! We moved it there today, and came up with a plan of attack. His first order of business is the tin work inside and the fabrication portion of the bodywork. I ordered patch panels for the quarters tonight. :TU: :beers2:
Well... you know what they say about the best laid plans.... The car sat untouched in his garage all winter, and a few days ago his brother-in-law stopped over to visit. He saw the car sitting there and made me an offer I couldn't refuse... Traded it "even-up" for his Mustang. *gasp* I know... a Mustang? WTF was I thinking? Well, to be honest, with me not having a shop or much time lately, I just don't see this car getting finished for at least 5-10 years... if ever. I've already proven I can't sell it in the state it's in unless I bend WAY over and take it in the can hardcore. This way, I at least have SOMETHING to play with this summer.... even if it is just another Mustang. It's an 82 hatchback, black, 5-spd, with a pretty nice little 302 in it. Roller cam, alum heads, etc.. Should run high 12's. Decent street toy. Not worth nearly what I have invested in the Buick, but since when has money ever been my motivation? I've lost my arse on every car I've ever owned... why stop now? o No: My emotions today are a strange combination of sadness and excitedness. I've had this car for half it's life, and over 2/3's of mine. Bought it in 88! That's 21 years ago for crying out loud. Haven't drove it since around 92? It was very sad to see it go. A closed chapter so to speak. But on the other hand, I have a turn-key toy for this summer.... even if it is just another friggen Stang. Anyways... he wanted the car for just the engine. He's putting that BBC in his boat! :Brow:  He has a friend that's interested in the car though. Hopefully I'll get to see it finished someday. Who knows.... maybe even buy it back after it's done!
