I have looked through lots of the threads about the coil springs, but don't see what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know the correct TRW part number for rear coils for a 70 GS, 455, HT, with A/C?

I have a set of TRW 5379 springs sitting in a box, brand new, but can't tell if they are correct or not. A friend bought them for his 70 Monte Carlo and for whatever reason didn't use them. Can these be used for my GS?

I looked at OPGI's site, but the way they have them listed, all in one long string and I can't tell whether the part number listed is for the car before or after the number. :Do No:

MOOG shows a 5385.Heavy duty is the only listing. I think the core numbers are generic between manufacturers.
The 5379 shows up as 350 Skylark & a 4 dr. hardtop, regular duty.
Rear coils are simple to swap. Might pay to try them & see where it sits.
Coil springs can be a real PITA to nail down correctly.

CC501 is the non-linear "Cargo Coil" for the rear. CC509 will work also, spring rate is slightly stiffer (180 vs 175), and will sit a few tenths of an inch higher.
