These are used but good condition 10:1 TRW forged pistons for a 350 with standard bore no need for machine work. Most 350s wear very little on the cylinder walls and can go without an overbore.
They give about 9.5:1 compression, or as high as 11:1 if you mill the heads and block. These have been discontinued and not easy to find. I have another set of these in a 650 hp turbo buick 350 and they hold up fine.

$340 shipped in the USA or Canada

Interested. Do you know the compression height on them? Finding specs on them is pretty hard. I assume standard pressed in pin is included and normal ring packages work?

How much shipped to 42104 if you aren't coming to the GS Nats?

Hi, good question I’m not sure what the compression height is and I don’t have precise tools to measure that spec. I can tell you that In my other engine without any block deck machine work the pistons sit 49 thou in the hole and it gives about 9.4:1 compression with those heads that are 58 cc. Milling the heads a bit and or using steel shim head gaskets gives an easy 10:1.

Yes standard rings fit, no issue there and yes they are press fit pins.

I will do my best to get a shipping quote today for you. Not going to the Nats but I wish!

So, it sounds like stock 1.8 compression height. I've seen some as high at 1.85. My current stock 71 low-comp pistons sit 0.51 in the bore at TDC with a huge dish.

Any idea what dish volume is so I can do some calculations on my engine? I was at 8.2:1 with my old motor and .040 head gaskets.

I found an old post where someone with a catalogue stated 1.852 compression height and 10 cc dish. You could safely count on 9.3:1 or better.

I think the low compression pistons are 24 cc dish if I remember right.

I have a .030 set of those in my # motor.
Good slugs. Have valve notches for more room.
Those would be good for stock bore with a hone, as those older TRW's needed a bit more room for expansion than new autotec forgings or hypers.

I can ship them for $30, not too bad! Message me if you want to move forward. I’m going to take each piston out inspect them and take a pic of each one. They are used but I can’t see any damage or excess wear.

That seems reasonable. Looks tempting but I have gotten ahead of myself. I haven't gotten word back from my machine shop yet on my block and it may be a few weeks. If anyone else needs them, I'll go to the back of the line.

No worries I’m a hoarder so it’s tough for me to let things go anyways . They are all packed back up and ready to ship. I can do $340 shipped anywhere in the USA.

My block looks pretty clean and will likely only need a hone to be standard. I'd like to stay around 9.5. If the heads and block don't get shaved much, that should be perfect.

Yes I find these blocks barely wear in most cases. It’s surprising but I’ve never seen a ridge at the top of the bore on any 350 I’ve ever taken apart. Chevy engines always seem to have ridges.
