Can anybody tell me where I can buy the correct trunk weatherstripping for my 72 GS skylark? I had bought it from OPG with a complete weatherstripping package but when you install the seal for the trunk it lays to flat thus letting water in when water is shot in from the sides like going thru a car wash. Does any other manufacture other then Softseal sell the correct trunk seal?
    Thank you for your time,
    Chip

    Thanks Jim,
I'll have to see what the height of the Softseal is, there is 1 1/6 " tall.
    Thanks again,
    Chip
P.S. When will you be rechroming the dash panel for the gauges, the last time I had asked you said sometime this summer and I also wanted to ask if that includes the lettering?

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Check with your local GM dealer...should still be available.

    Chip,
I used Metro on my 72 and it seemed to be a good tight seal.

I bought seals for y '65 from both Steele and Softseal. The Steele was way too thick, the Softseal was right. Maybe they got our orders mixed up? :error:  Anyway, its the opposite problem- trunk would not close with Steele, works fine with SS.
