You should avoid the old neutral drop at all costs. My high school classmates toasted most of their transmissions this way. If I were you, I would immediately stop taking advice from "that guy". Devon
Keith, I bought it from Jegs or Summit, it goes inline with one button. You depress the button to stage and when you want to "leave" just hit the pedal. Works great. I guess they still make them, I had mine for 5-6 years now. BillyG. I had a 12 Bolt with a street 4.10 ring and pinion. I did not have the housing reinforced or have a girdle type cover at the time, which I have now. Jin N.
Oh, Keith, I'm not going to be able to come to Milan. I hate it especially since I did nothing in Jolet, but we have a car show planned for that weekend that all the profit goes to my class. I guess I better hang around and help since my program is getting the money. JIM N.
I have some thoughts but it's probably more than we should get into here....maybe Atlanta or Memphis we can talk. I'll check with Jegs/Summit and see what I can find. I hate it when that happens! I actually have a wedding to go to that Saturday (...in Indy...) so I am going to have to do some fast talkin' to get this to work out... Have fun! K
Yeah, the slicks are actually 29.5/10.5-15. I agree with the more gear. I had 4.10's in it before, but I really want to drive on the street some. We have a lot of open highway around here. I was condsidering a Gear Vendors overdrive with the 3.55's but even if I toss the 4.10 rear back in, the GV would knock it down to 3.20's.
KEITH BEWARE! Remember what happened when I thought I could go to a wedding on Sat. in Bowling Green. Later, JIM
