I'm looking for a set of wide whites that fit a 55 buick. Must be in good condition. I have a set of 255 70 15 Nascar goodyear eagles (yellow letter)mounted on American racing wheels bullet hole style aluminum rims. They have between 6000-8000 miles on them and look great. I never would have believed they would fit in my wheel wells but they do with no rubbing. I live in southern wisconsin so if your close and want a different look to your ride, let me know???? late chad
I have a set of (4) 15" Firestone brand Polyester Wide White tires that I just bought thinking they were wider than the ones I currently have but they are not. The white part is either 3 1/2 inches wide or 4" wide. Previous owner stated that they had less than 1000 miles on them. he was selling them because he was going to lower his car by cheating and getting lower profile tires. Great shape just need a good cleaning cause they have some smudges on them from taking them off the rims. I'll get the exact size later on tonight or tomorrow. I'm in Chicago and you can have them for $175 obo. A brand new set from Coker is $480. They came off a 53 Buick. Some mild crackling of the black rubber but not noticeable when on the car. I could meet you somewhere closer to the Wisconsin border for gas $$. Unless you have a switch pitch Nailhead trans lying around that needs a rebuild, then maybe even trade.
