I want to track the life of my 1964 Riviera. I bought it in August 2012. The title before it's TX title it was a Los Angles, CA title. 12/14/2011 How do I find out where the car has "lived"? Start with a call to the California DMV. Pick a office in a more remote or rural area . See how far they can track a car back. Tell them its for research . Depends on the state . NC can go back to day 1 on a car sold in NC . PA only goes back 10 years. Other states vary.
