Does anyone know of a good shop in the Seattle area that can install the top on my '68 LeSabre? I already have the new top/moldings/well liner, just need someone to do the hard work for me. Thanks. -Cortray:
Well, I found one. Mac's in Ballard. They're suggesting anywhere from $1K to $1500, just to install. I already have the new top, well liner, rubber and pads. Does this sound about right for installation price? Seems kinda pricey but I guess I would charge a lot too for such a pain in the arse. -Cortuzzled:
Cort, There is supposedly a good one near SeaTac Airport. I will get the name for the place. I heard also there is another in the Kent area, but the guy has a problem with smoking cigarettes. A lot of them!!!ou:
That seems high. There is one near me in Renton, and a couple of summers ago they qouted me about 8 to 10 hours, at $65 an hour, since I would be supplying the parts. If they bought them, then their hourly was less, since they were making money on the parts. Here is there contact info, guy's name is Mike.
