I was just wondering if anyone has found a source for the bushings and special bolts that our tops use?? I would like to replace the bolts that I could not replate and all the bushings.... Thanks Tim
www.nationalpartsdepot.com bushings are c-14476-1a $7.50 each guide pins are c-14090-101a $5.95 each They don't list bolts but those that go to the rear qtr panel support are not seen.
Those are the cylinder bushings, I am looking for the actual top mechanism bushings (ie, where it attaches to the bracket, etc), and maybe some of the shouldered bolts.....there are nylon bushings and also spring washers... I was hoping someone out there might have a kit with everything needed. Thanks Tim
Tim, Have you tried Degreeves in Cowtown? They might know where to find the pieces. Have been in business for something like 70 years. They did a nice job on my '69 convertible top in '97. Was expensive,.. but I got what I paid for. Just an idea for ya.
Actually thats a good idea....I'll do that next days off. Just wanting to replace the wearable parts since I have everything apart as far as it will go, not having much luck with the local stores so far. Thanks Tim
