I finally rode with the top up today and noticed a terrible sound coming from the latch. When looking at I notices that one of the three layers by the latch is out of place. How bad is this? How would I go about fixing it?
I have 60 miles to get back to Delaware from main on Tueaday and it has been raining alot. I would like to make sure that I am not going to leave my top on the highway.
Convertible Service in Cali can repair those. They have a special jig built, that slowly apply's pressure over several days. Or if you can find one, buy a used latch in good condition. DL
