The 70 lark I'm redoing is gonna get a new top in the near future. The car originally had a white top but currently has a ripped black one. My question is is the original white color of the top supposed to be a bleach white or is it slightly off white?
I have a swatch for the original 70 top material but I cannot relate it to that type of description. It is simply designated "White /Code1". It is like asking someone to descibe a black paint color. There are about 10-20 different black paint codes that concieveably lead to different results but I could not differentiate these to you in words. If you are coming to Indy I could show it to you.
Heres the story, its actually my parents car but I'm the one researching stuff about it on the internet... Car originally had and will have a pearl white interior. It got taken to the interior shop today thats going to put a new top on it, and my mom ordered a top color that "reminded" her of the pearl white color (whatever that means). I thought it was supposed to be more of a brighter, bleach white than a pearl white, and after I said that she admitted she may have screwed up so we're going back to the place tomorrow morning to look at the top colors again, and I'm gonna be there this time.
